Don't drop them lol.

Did you portion it out or freeze it after? That's a ton of chili. Looks good too.

[-] Weborl@lemmy.world 10 points 1 year ago

We ate some of that, and the rest went into the freezer, separated in containers of one or two pounds for future chili parties.

I need to know more about these chili parties. For instance, when is the next one? And what should I bring?

[-] RootBeerGuy@discuss.tchncs.de 4 points 1 year ago

Looks like not chili. That seems covered pretty well.

[-] canthidium@lemmy.world 1 points 1 year ago

Nah, there's always room for more chili ;)

Portion it out into vacuum bags. Then just drop the whole thing in boiling water.

Sounds like the makings of a good backpacking meal

Until it thaws in your backpack, and due to the vacuum sealing, it's 100% full so any attempts to puncture it will result in chili hands. In the middle of the woods. The bears will have a field day with your highly aromatic fingies

"Highly aromatic fingies" is my new trail-name

Beats mine! It's taint. Just taint
