Goddammit newsweek I'm "sick" of your "quotes" you "always" seem to manage to shoehorn into the "article" "headline".
I wish it was only this bullshit publication that was guilty of this.
So is it not toxic? Are there any heavy metals not toxic? R.I.P. journalism.
They put it in quotation marks because it's a quotation. They're indicating it's not themselves calling it toxic, it's another source, in this case, the study.
