MODERATORS
all bethesda has ever been decent at was world design, fallout 3 and skyrim were super well made open worlds imo, just great to walk around in
but the engine and combat and dialogue and storytelling is such trash, every single time, and this time they fucked up the world too
I very strongly disagree with the notion that the Capital wasteland was fun to explore. Really does have nothing on New Vegas.
narratively New Vegas is so much better, the mojave is much better, but just wandering place to place fallout 3 is better imo. hard to say with nostalgia, fo3 was my first fallout, and one of my first games/ special interests so I'm very biased
The subways in Fallout 3 fucking slap though
