fucking savage, I'm not even following the whole situation but this was unbelievably brutal... not to mention that it's simply a way better listen than Drake's track
also, what was the deal with J Cole? I keep seeing people saying that he got off easy and I'm interested but not enough to spend time reading about it lol
Kendrick's first volley (Like That) was ostensibly against both Cole and Drake. Cole did a (terrible) response track and then apologized after like a day lmao which is such a Cole thing to do. He has since removed the song from streaming services.

He also featured on Future's new song where he says that he's not about that street life. If he never released his trash diss and just kept it musical, I imagine Kendrick would've reciprocated proportionally
Been reading a few different things about the thing with Cole, but it seems like it comes down to either Kendrick told him that his beef wasn't really with him or they really respect each other enough not to get this personal with their diss tracks.
