I have finished Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth and have no idea where the "infinite wealth" part of the name comes from.
Having said that, since I started with Yakuza 7, I'm playing the rest starting at 0
It's unofficially Yakuza 8, 8 sideways = ∞ so they tried to find a title that would let them use that.
I'm pretty sure it's officially Yakuza 8, since the series in Japan has always been called "Like a Dragon" and over there Infinite Wealth is just called "Like a Dragon 8". I'm sure they could have come up with a better pun and they've really painted themselves into a corner for Like a Dragon 9's title.
