Running a lan server to play with the folks i live with and running the bot mod is the most fun i've had in battlefield in ages. The bots are super efficient and are like a zerg swarm

Not atm no, Venice unleashed took many years to make and the same team restored online play for bad company 2. There does appear to be a project in development for bf4 though so maybe sometime in the future https://warsaw-revamped.com/
