Creation Kit is out, it's just that nothing great has come out since yet. The modding tools aren't better, but the game concept itself has more room for improvement and simpler tweaks to fix.
Still not a great game by any measure, of course, I just hate Skyrim that much lol
Waow! There were no news posts on that, lmao. So, so joever.
Haha, fair. Still holding onto hope that the DLC will bring back enough players for the modding scene to pick up steam, even Fallout 76 had a resurgence over time. Starfield's biggest issues are with the gameplay loop, which can be alleviated largely with proper balance and a well-developed Survival Mode, making exploration out of the Settled Systems actually require Helium mines and refueling stations to avoid getting trapped, while also having valuable resources and rare flora and fauna only available at the fringes. This actually connects the disconnected gameplay systems, like settlement building and surveying, in a meaningful way. Forcing slower, more methodical engagement fixes a lot of the issues with constant loading screens, by lowering the ratio of game-time spent loading.
I dunno, we will have to see, it's still my spiciest gaming prediction.
Holy shit Fallout 76 deserved so much to die on its ass. Why did it not, fuck gamers honestly.
The TV show brought in a bunch of people, and apparently they added a bunch of quest-driven content. Still microtransaction slop, but Starfield has better bones. We will see!
F76 survived prior to the TV show... fuckin Todd...
Yep, despite all odds the gamers stuck with their slop
