There are some infamous ones for the amount of misinformation they post.

It's funny to see you comment here because I was literally coming to this thread to mention that I see you in seemingly every comment chain and thus consider you "Lemmy-famous."

[-] abbadon420@lemm.ee 13 points 3 months ago

"Lemmy infamous" even

[-] ccunning@lemmy.world 19 points 3 months ago

Some even under this very post…

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 9 points 3 months ago

Does SMCF post misinformation? I honestly don't know.

So if everything you post is a lie then this is also a lie

[-] ccunning@lemmy.world 6 points 3 months ago

I would say no. SMCF seems more prone to battle misinformation. I was referring to someone else that commented to this post.

[-] Empricorn@feddit.nl 2 points 3 months ago

Yourself...? I only saw 2 comments before I replied.

[-] ccunning@lemmy.world 2 points 3 months ago

I guess it will remain a mystery…

[-] Lost_My_Mind@lemmy.world 8 points 3 months ago

Just like the mystery of why captain planet was a popular show, yet NOBODY liked it. HOW THE HELL WAS IT POPULAR???

[-] SatansMaggotyCumFart@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago
[-] MagicShel@programming.dev 6 points 3 months ago

Yeah... but also everything you post is false per your exact words, so that doesn't really get us anywhere.

[-] slackassassin@sh.itjust.works 4 points 3 months ago

That's only because they never stopped liking captain planet.

[-] I_Fart_Glitter@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

I liked it. That being said, there weren’t a lot of options in the 90s. It was 4pm on a Tuesday and your homework was done and you wanted to watch TV, there were like three options at best, unless you wanted to see Judge Judy or Dr. Phil, which I did not.

This makes 10 year old me cry through my 40 year old body.

My dad was mentally abusive, and an alchoholic. I was up every night from 3pm to 1am doing homework. Because my dad enjoyed being controlling. So he would make me do the same homework again, and again, and agsin, and again and again, and again, and agsin, and again and again, and again, and agsin, and again and again, and again, and agsin, and again and again, and.....again until I got it 100% right in his eyes. Which was less about being accurate, and more about him wanting to go to bed.

So, 4pm on a Tuesday, I would be in like round 2 of the same homework. Knowing I wouldn't be done for several hours.

I'm so sorry. I hope your life is happy now.

[-] Maeve@kbin.earth 1 points 3 months ago

Damn. I'm sorry. I hope you find healing for that, expeditiously.

[-] TopRamenBinLaden@sh.itjust.works 3 points 3 months ago

Seeing I_Fart_Glitter respond in a comment chain started by SatansMaggotyCumFart is a Lemmy moment I will remember for the rest of my days.

Thank y'all for your service.

[-] captain_aggravated@sh.itjust.works 5 points 3 months ago

I really hope Lemmy eventually gets significant enough attention that Whang! does a video about stuff that happens here, so I can hear him say your screen name out loud.
