Ea-nāṣir is remembered by history solely because of a complaint tablet from ~1750 BCE.
His copper was the wrong quality, poorly delivered, and he was rude to the servant sent to pick it up. Allegedly. The complaint is all we know.
Several other tablets with complaints about his copper were also found in what was believed to be the ruins of his home.
To be preserved clay tablets have to be baked, so Ea-nāṣir would have had to intentionally preserve them - maybe because he found them funny, or so outrageous.
That’s awesome. Dude kept trophies from his haters.
Or someone delivered a complaint and when he laughed them off decided to burn down his house
I want to believe but I reckon they wouldn't be fired effectively in a house fire (too hot, too cold or too fast)
