Wow, you're really reaching there. I'm asking you to stop blaming women for men's problems. There's a group of people who aren't doing that, and if you don't want to be called a misogynist, follow the example of that group.
And yet you're the exact type of person to blame men for women's issues lol
Your mental gymnastics are funny
Nah, this is textbook double standards.
You are part of the problem that is stopping true equality. If men have everywhere to work through issues so you need a special place to do it, how does that end. You forever stay locked in that safe space because men own the public forum? Or do you try to fight for your spot in the public forum, attacking the only place you allowed men to work through issues? Or do you want a place in the public forum and your own space?
So by your own logic women have their own communities and the general forum is for men, because of this post. So should women be told not to discuss their issues in general forums like Ask Lemmy and stick to their own communities? I mean these are for men right? Seems messed up to me.
Why not just let everyone have a seat at every table? Be truly open and equal, instead of men deciding what women can have and women deciding what men can have. It's not a hard concept.
It's people like you that make the divide bigger every time you fight for "equality".
Will you stop blaming men for women's problems?
The incels are out in force.
Ask them if they're also supportive of White Pride and the KKK. Or if they'd endorse a "White Lives Matter" movement.
Maybe then the cognitive dissonance will be obvious.
Your deflection isn't helping you.
Universally every aspect from risk of being murdered to rape to domestic abuse to pregnancy/abortion โ women face massive fucking challenges disproportionate to men... JUST like minorities face disproportionate challenges to my fellow white males.
So I'm a bit surprised when I see an argument of, "Your comments here an example of double standard" because I don't think you'd take too keenly to saying that White Lives Matters is just as worthy of respect and having community here as Black Lives Matter ... And if you do, well then I want nothing to do with you.
The logic underpinning these two subjects is identical. Hence the cognitive dissonance.
how do you explain lesbian domestic violence issues?
What are you driving at here? You think this is some sort of gotcha?
This redpill incel shit is tiresome and the deflections laughable.
It is a fact that undermines your thesis presented across this comment section. I am asking how this fact fits in your narrative.
"trust me bro my propaganda is good, don't ask stupid questions, just do what i say! RHEEE"

Also, black on black crime is as much of an issue as any other crime lol i am not sure what point you are trying to make with that?
You spend entire thread talking about male violence etc on gross raw numbers, but appear to refuse to knowledge the higher rates within lesbian relationships. Or is that data no good?
I've thus far seen ZERO โ 0 โ Nada โ Null โ Zilch Facts presented.
... Or wait, did it ever dawn on you that that still counts as being a female victim...? Or did it ever dawn on you that data on gay couples is far more sparse than the troves of data on what make up heterosexual relationships?
... And are you going to sit there and seriously tell me that you couldn't grasp the fact that "black on black" violence argument is a trope raised by objective racists to skirt the reality of racial discrimination?
It is honestly remarkable that you believe this is some kind of gotcha. Amateur shit, really. Do better.

Please tell me you actually read past the second paragraph.
Padme: You read past the second paragraph, right...?
Golly, it's almost like that article proves my point. Thank you.
Here let me do you one better.

Overall, about 2 in 3 women have reported being victims while around 1/3 of men have. So let me just drive this point home for your noggin: The vast majority of victims of rape, physical violence, or stalking are women, and the vast majority of perpetrators are men. End of story. That's all she wrote.
Meanwhile, bisexual women have the greatest rates of abuse than either lesbian or heterosexual women by a large margin.
By the way, just going to drop a hint: Just because you identify as lesbian now or are in a lesbian relationship now doesn't mean you were always lesbian and always had women partners... Duh. In fact, many women who come out of abuse tend to find comfort in other women. Turns out, these studies don't account for that little tidbit.
