I held off on Windows 10 for as long as I could until my job required it. Now this nonsense. I hope this isn't the start of them joining on the web DRM bandwagon.

Thankfully, there's a huge variety of pdf readers (not so much for editors, unfortunately)

My favorite for Windows is Sumatra

Sumatra is really cool. That was my only PDF reader for a long time when I was using Windows.
