Friend of mine gave me a bunch of 2g joints coated in "diamonds" (thc crystals?) and I am a pretty light smoker most of the time but had developed a tolerance over the summer. Thought I could take it nbd. I could not. The joint burnt itself out maybe 3/4 of the way through and I was too incapacitated to notice lol
Diamonds are a form of concentrate. In my experience they're usually THCA, which degrades into ∆9 THC when heated, but they're definitely some strong stuff.
The diamonds you're referring to are called kief. They are the trichomes that break off the bud when it's being trimmed/handled. The trichomes are basically concentrated THC and the level of potency is determined on how mature the trichomes were upon being harvested.
