It's a favorite of theirs. For those who havent heard it somehow, it goes like "Communism works in small communities where everyone knows each other, but it doesn't scale up!"

The whole argument rests on the notions that you can't possibly care about the well being of people you don't know, and that that's somehow required for human beings to work cooperatively.

You can tell this is true because there's no such thing as "charity" or "Wikipedia"
