Here is some of the pokemon/human lore that got leaked
i feel like the hackers just added some shitposting to the pile just to fuck with them even more
I want to believe this is real if only because this makes palworld look extremely tame by comparison which is hilarious
Lol maybe, but the lore about the creation of the universe does seem legit
It's basically canon-friendly with Gen 4 lore. But humans and Pokemon getting it on is a bit less weird with the varying levels of sapience on various mons. I'm not doing a Harkness test though and I know some Pokemon like Basculin are canonically used as food since they're mentally just aggressive goldfish.
(And I know, not the best site to discuss in terms of various taboos on intelligence versus acceptability to eat.)
And then the villagers said "I don't think he's all that shaggy"
I doubt this is real - why would it have been written in English? Did the hackers say they translated it? Seems odd.
It is translated, I've seen the original Japanese docs
Ah, I see. Thanks!
from what i read, the leaks were originally posted in japanese and people have been translating them today
Makes sense, thanks!
Especially sus because a lot of Pokemon names we know in English were invented by the official localizers. For example, Octillery is apparently called Ocutank in Japanese. Which is weird, Octank sounds like a fine name for a pokemon to me. Never understood why localizers make up new names for stuff that already sounds fine
Pretty sure this shit is just par for the course with Japanese folklore lmao
