The label says "Schefflera".

  • 4/5 for sunlight
  • 2.5/5 for water
  • 5-25 for temperature
  • Moderate for fertilizer

After I brought it home, I see that some of the leaves are turning dark and falling off. I don't know why.

Thank you in advance

The number one killer of indoor plants is over watering. Wait for the leaves to wilt before watering.

I don't know much about this particular plant but judging by the dark leaves, it probably doesn't need as much light as the label says. Put it in a corner of a room that gets light, but not right in front of it.

Once a week, move the plant closer to the window and see if that helps it perk up.
