Literally what I told them, either Leftists didn't make a difference and Harris floundered on her own, or Leftists made a huge difference and Harris intentionally rejected them, failing.
I've had that same argument, turns into "well if she did that she'd lose more moderates than she'd gain leftists!!1!"
Tell em that Biden ran a more progressive campaign and churned out voters, same as Bernie, and voter turnout was far higher.
