- Be respectful: no harassment, hate speech, bigotry, and/or trolling.
- Encourage conversation in your OP. This means including heavily implicative subject matter when you can and also engaging in your thread when possible.
- Avoid controversial topics (e.g. politics or societal debates).
- Stay calm: Don’t post angry or to vent or complain. We are a place where everyone can forget about their everyday or not so everyday worries for a moment. Venting, complaining, or posting from a place of anger or resentment doesn't fit the atmosphere we try to foster at all. Feel free to post those on !goodoffmychest@lemmy.world

Because the steak was burned and didn't taste good. But the guy specifically told me to say that i tastes amazing and to even exaggerate. This is also a thing on TV here in Korea that they have those foreigners tasting food and they without exception always have to say how amazing it is, you never see them saying they don't like it. Even if you can see it on their reaction, they would always say mhmm so good! :D
I read that the first time, too. But the same question remains.
I guess I didn't want to be rude to him, especially as a foreigner.
Maybe it's a fun tv show, letting foreigners eat bad food and pretend it's good.
Anyways, stay true to yourself <3
Reminds me of this bit from Married with Children where Kelly has to react to the flavors of the diet shake she's doing a commercial for.
