There's a whole big debate over whether lamps or overhead lights are the Correct Way to illuminate a space.

This is called fraud, and it's illegal even in our current capitalist hellscape. Probably a bit, but if not it's a written confession.

"Leadership? I just wanted a cushy job that makes me feel important and connects me with rich, powerful people. What about that do you poors not understand?"

Leaving aside the total amorality of this, these people have absolutely no grounds to sue. They bought a house and the value went down. That's how the cookie crumbles sometimes

Kraft said that before the contract was terminated, she saw 30% to 40% of children in a given docket without lawyers. Now, she said, the number has increased to 50% to 60%.

So it's not different in kind, just degree? Fuuuuck

NYT is even worse, look at this fucking garbage:

The case has supercharged a partisan battle over immigration. Democrats argue that the Trump administration defied the law in deporting and then refusing to return Mr. Abrego Garcia, who entered the United States illegally but was later granted “withholding of removal” status in 2019. Mr. Trump and other Republicans accuse Democrats of catering to a dangerous criminal who has no right to be in the United States.

They're fucking both-sidesing FASCISM

And why wouldn't you drop the evidence into a fucking river within hours of leaving NYC?

This sucks

Seriously, how is my Johnny-come-lately ass the first one to come up with this?

Yeah and the broader point is an important one; it won't be too long before the impacts of this shift are very obvious in the marketplace. The US is under enormous pressure to get things back to normal, but the guy in charge is more pro-:isntrael: than Reagan, so I don't see any way that can happen.

Ok you asked, so I'll answer. A trans woman is a woman, full stop. A lesbian woman is a woman who is only interested in fellow women. There is no contradiction there whatsoever, and it's actually a form of transphobia to think that there is. Most of us have learned transphobia from the society around us, so it's important to recognize it and stamp it out when it crops up.

Also, people's identities are important; trying to ignore them is a form of retreat used by reactionaries to avoid having to grow socially.

Your day-to-day life...on the massive globally interconnected computer network shared by everyone worldwide who has the means to connect to it? You didn't expect to see an opinion held by well over 1 billion people on that network, ever?

what-the-hell

You thought no Chinese people supported the One China Policy? Seriously?

The rhetoric and goal of Hexbar are clear based on their announcement: to “dismantle western propaganda” and "demolish organizations such as NATO” shows that Hexbar has no intention of "respecting the rules of the community instance in which they are posting/commenting.” It’s to push their beliefs and ideology.
