I thought this was bound to happen due to the sabotage of the post office that is somewhat bipartisan but increased with Trump term 1. But yesterday my grandmother just got a birthday card she had sent to me two years ago returned as "undeliverable" despite the address being correct and the postage paid. And this also caused me to find out that this happened to several other relatives, though without the two year delay, despite the address and postage being definitely correct.

Nearly 30 years ago I went to cracker barrel with my parents and grandparents, for the only time. I remember that I didn't like the food and I ended up walking through the "country store" afterwards, which I only remember because of the big rocking chair. I hope it goes so woke that it is broke so other 5 year olds don't have to suffer through the same experience.

Went there for work, but got some real Cuban rum while there along with some good mole paste. So I am drinking the real Cuba Libre and making some tofu mole tonight. Feeling pretty good right now. What are y'all up to?

But seriously, framing it this way seems like there is a deeper trend whenever a liberal polity is undergoing decline or stress. But I am more than a little drunk at this point.

I wasted 6 hours arguing with a libertarian. But I did succeed in arguing him into submission, where he started accepting that his worldview is wrong. His only defense of himself is that "I haven't read anything about objectivism, I think they might prove property rights and markets there..."

I should probably get a real life.
