Duracell should rebrand.

  1. Duracell
  2. Duraacell
  3. Duraaacell
  4. Duraaaacell

The big ones: Durcell, and Curcell

[-] Malgas@beehaw.org 4 points 5 months ago

Shouldn't the big ones be Durdcell and Durccell?

Also: Dur9vcell.

I would think the bigger batteries would start with DDuracell

What about the D-cell though?

[-] metostopholes@lemmy.world 22 points 5 months ago

"D" is the sound it makes when it hits the bottom.

After the crush, they shout CR2032.

[-] poinck@lemm.ee 5 points 5 months ago

That's why they are only half the length. ^^

D is the dastardly bastard that threw the first one down the hole.

9v batteries are actually 6x AAAA batteries in a little case.

[-] Frederic@beehaw.org 4 points 5 months ago

I also saw some small rectangles batteries stacked

If you want to also be pedantically technically correct, 9V batteries are often made from 6 AAAA cells. Most of the things people call battery are actually cells, the common batteries are 9V (6x1.5V cells) and 6V (4x1.5V cells) alkalines, 12V lead-acid (6x2V cells) and electric vehicle batteries (lots of 3-ish volt cells of various lithium technologies)
