I have had my Creality Ender 3 Pro for a while now and I have upgraded it quite a lot. Lately I have been thinking about wether I should put in some more money (better hotend, maybe new steppers, maybe enclosure, maybe part cooling fan) or if I should buy a new printer that is a more of complete package. A bit more build volume would be nice as well.

I am intrigued by the Bambu Labs printers but I don't like their somewhat proprietary approach. So I have been looking around for competitors and I saw that Creality has shown their new K2 Plus with an AMS. I wonder if it's worth waiting for that. The specs sound good. Is the K1 good now? I heard it had some problems in the beginning.

The perpetual chicken egg problem of IPv6: many users don't have IPv6 because it's not worth it because everything is reachable via IPv4 anyways because IPv6 only service don't make sense because they will only reach a subset of users because many users don't have IPv6.....

If you work on not buying cigarettes anymore you avoid the ads and something for your health and your pocket. Triple win.

I mean it's not so different from myself when I say I'm bored but I don't want to do anything.

I think the biggest problem is that employers used to require that we do all the work we can do. The easiest way to achieve that is to observe that no one is slacking off. With Home Office there is suddenly a need to find out what is a reasonable workload. They seem to fear that they don't get occupy the employees 100% of the time and as usual on capitalism it is not enough when you produce enough bit when you produce all you can.

The great thing is that if a lot of people like Mastodon they can use it and if you don't like it you can use something differenent and you will still be able to communicate. That's the whole point.
