They didn't heed the warning of Pillow Guy's demise. There many big US businesses that are going to hurt badly in the coming months and years - all thanks to their support of Trump. It's wonderful.
Can attest. Just visited Norway and although I wanted to eat authentic Norwegian cuisine, pizza was everywhere. Easier to find than seafood and I was staying in a port city.
If you told people the best way to pay off their debt was to cut their income and then try to cut some of their expenses, they'd laugh at you. Somehow Conservatives have been able to peddle that narrative for 40 years and, although they have never made it work, provincially or federally, they still have people believing them that the first thing to do is cut income (taxes). I voted for Harper the first time in hopes that maybe he had a different take being an "economist". Did not vote for him again.
If you only see the abbreviation fl oz and happen to live in Florida, I can see making the connection. People don't talk about ounces being both a volume (fl oz) and weight (oz) measurement. Go metric and you don't have to know!
In fairness to Trump, he has never, ever experienced the consequences of his actions. Bankrupt? Didn't put a dent in his life since his father and banks kept the money flowing to him regardless, more than once. Rapist? No jail time. Fraudster? No jail, not sure that any fines have even been paid. So why would he think, when nothing bad happens to him and he can still golf the weekend away, that anything bad will happen to all the people losing their jobs, their investments, their retirement, their homes? Why don't they all have rich fathers and sycophantic bankers to bail them out? At very least they should have Russian mafia backers like he does, that make it look like he's a billionaire, even if it really is billions in debt to them.
Wonderful news. Keep it up even when tariffs are removed. We MUST grow Canadian made for Canadians to purchase.
I think the dealership fires and vandalism are insider jobs. The dealers have unsellable merchandise. An insurance payout is about the best they could hope for.
It always seemed strange that Canada would agree (how much arm twisting?) to buy a plane that won't work well in our Arctic. We are committed to buying 16 jets but it would probably be better to buy the rest elsewhere or put our money into homegrown solutions. Maybe drones or other machines.
My cellphone changes automatically and so does the alarm clock that we never use. But the stove, microwave, decorative clock, and thermostat all need to be changed manually. And I still have a VCR and know how to set the time on it but it doesn't update automatically.
Isn't this the exact type of thing the 2nd Amendment types were supposed to have their guns and militia to guard against?
Time for anyone who doesn't live within the USA to dump all USA tech. No need to "go after" governments, if the people in those countries simply do not use any USA companies. We do not need META (Facebook, Instagram, Threads, WhatsApp), Musk (SpaceX, Twitter, Neuralink, SolarCity, Tesla), Bezos (Amazon, Whole Foods, Washington Post, Audible, IMDb, MGM,Twitch, Ring, Alexa), etc.
Because of George Martin and Rothfuss I will not read a new series unless the last book has already been written. Sorry authors but this shit is too annoying for readers.
