I think I recall the Alex Baldwin and Kim Basinger being the first episode that pushed me off the Simpsons .. it felt like celebrity pandering or something and I just stopped watching

At restaurants in London they would ask for still or sparkling and my friends and I would say, "London's finest" aka tap water is good bro.

Is the flashy new ROG ALLY the real deal? Will the Xbox Anywhere plan work? My time shipping the Xbox and 360 was a wild ride, but nothing like the current c...

Hi all,

I'm traveling for a few months so I picked up a used gaming laptop from one of those trading sites. It's an ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14 2024.

I initially went with Windows because I wanted to game. I was gonna miss my terminal for dev and a bunch of other things but I thought compatibility and not dealing with hassle was more important for now. The thing is, for some reason, the laptop would be running really hot all the time ... even when idling.

I got fed up and I put Pop OS! loaded steam with the compatibility stuff and ran a few games really well. My only issue so far was that the laptop keyboard didn't work during installation but after an update it was fine. The laptop obviously gets hot when running games but when idling it runs really cool.

This is now making me feel like I can convert my gaming desktop over as well!

I was considering Bazzite too? Anyone know if it's worth it?

Sorted Food guys taste potentially pretentious ingredients and judge them. Just a bit of fun.

I feel bad for this lady. She was calm and talking in public with two other people and she gets meme'd like she was being unreasonable. She wasn't, but even if she was she wouldn't deserve it.

Jesus Christ. There's an actual takeover of your government that you guys can use your guns on. Cosplaying losers.

Just let your wealth compound over time and you'll be a millionaire, the advice goes. If this is true why aren't more people rich?UNDERSTAND, SHARE & PUSH BACK

I would have put the Electric Moccasins but it's a actual band name.

I don't know if this video has any solid evidence or earth shattering message in there.

I personally found it nice and I like the overall message despite the background of the world we're living in being sad.

But The Onion and its six-member editorial board do not listen to outsiders. Nor do we listen to data, facts, polls, the U.S. government, or the widely panned Geneva Conventions.

I love it.

The accounts are so important that you're willing to lose sales in that many countries?!

R1s statement in response from the article:

“rabbit r1 is not an Android app. We are aware there are some unofficial rabbit OS app/website emulators out there. We understand the passion that people have to get a taste of our AI and LAM instead of waiting for their r1 to arrive. That being said, to clear any misunderstanding and set the record straight, rabbit OS and LAM run on the cloud with very bespoke AOSP and lower level firmware modifications, therefore a local bootleg APK without the proper OS and Cloud endpoints won’t be able to access our service. rabbit OS is customized for r1 and we do not support third-party clients. Using a bootlegged APK or webclient carries significant risks; malicious actors are known to publish bootlegged apps that steal your data. For this reason, we recommend that users avoid these bootlegged rabbit OS apps.”

So there's literally no reason for this to have been a device at all.

Anyone who follows the alt-right, did Joe or anyone else go ape shit over this yet? I'm assuming that because they were going crazy over the previous Twitter about certain infractions under the old guard ... so this new shit must be driving them crazy. Being free speech activists and all that.

I remember when I was working with .NET and I saw some web service code and I saw there was no try catches. They didn't have a global catch in the asax either or anything. I just wrapped each call into a try catch and log.

I got the same treatment where my manager wanted to know what happened with the increase in errors. I told him what I did. My manager got another developer to go through my commits regardless. I was a bit upset at the lack of trust.

I thought Sam did put on the ring in the books.

It also affected Boromir just being around it.

Didn't Smeagol kill a friend just to have it before even wearing it?

Right wing groups in the US made Planned Parenthood a political issue. It doesn't make it a political organization.

I feel sorry for Unity because I want them to be profitable and all that. However, they have a greedy prick for a CEO and one of the dumbest change rollouts I've seen (Twitter has been crazy bad lately too) at this scale. It wipes away any empathy for them and makes you yearn for their collapse.
