Three hundred hours in, multimillion unit production line, so many side quests done, 3 copies bought to share with family later and I'm finally doing the main quests🤣

The story is great so far and I enjoy the mystery/anime levels of complexity. I love that it works entirely offline and with multiplayer. I love that Hello Games chooses a working business model over gouging us for every little thing they do. Haters gonna hate but I love this game.

Can anyone explain how you might take extreme heat damage when you have an S class heat mod and a full bar of heat shield? Everything was charged up and I suddenly died to 2 ticks of heat damage. The only thing I couldn't think to check in my panic was my life support... But the messaging was clearly extreme heat damage so I just felt totally confused.

Debian takes work, especially if you have tricky, proprietary hardware that requires firmware support. It comes with that magical "free software only" mentality that makes it harder to adopt and hence why Ubuntu and Mint exist. It's a great minimalist distro

It was a spectacular and hilarious death. I was swimming around my underwater base and I didn't realize I was over top of one of those sulphide fissures. It blasted my shields off. Holy crap!

Well, since I took the burn I may as well go get my crystals, right? As I collected the third crystal, I saw the fissure starting to erupt so I backed what I thought was "way off" to* the side of it.

Well, you see, I was in first person view. I typically swim around in third person. It turns out I was not as far away as I thought I was. The instant the beautiful fissure exploded, I instantly cut to black.

RIP Tangonov, first permadeath iteration. I only lost 20 hours, let's start again.

Apparently the packaging requirements for F-Droid are more challenging than just "must be open source" and aren't for everybody.

The "no Google Play services" alone are a non starter for many apps. My preferred messenger, Signal, is plenty open source and runs its own notification daemon, but cannot be found on F-Droid. I have to get it via Obtainium instead.

It's like they've never done this before, and ditched without picking up their garbage from their constituents.
