What's reddit? Is that like a new alternative to Lemmy? ;P
That looks like it would be hell to pedal in any kind of headwind!
In this land of legalised extortion in the form of insurance my friend who is in his mid 30s and been driving over a decade with no claims has to pay £700 per month.
My mum wanted to add my sister (again mid thirties and driving for nearly 20 years now with no claims) to her policy so she could borrow her car for a week and then maybe use the car once a month if that and they wanted an additional £1000 a month for the privaledge.
Fucking scum.
Ignorant idiots who can't think for themselves will always follow the narrative that is forced down their throat.
See also "The war on drugs". The majority of the people who will demonise you for choosing to use "illegal" substances will also be smashing their livers with alcohol which is more detrimental to both themselves and society than a lot of other drugs on a weekly or often daily basis.
Just because it is legal they feel like they are fine to not do their own independent research into what these things actually do to them and how fucking addictive they are.
If you'd watched the video then you'd realise these aren't "pupils", this is a guy with a lot of experience in the sport passing on tips and help to the local kids at the skatepark. That is exactly how people used to learn this sport before it being mainstream and how a lot of people still do I'm sure. He is more than able to give kids help and they will appreciate it a shit load coming from someone obviously good at the sport.
Also the goal in skating is never to "not hurt yourself", sure ideally you don't want to hurt yourself but it is a sport that when learning you are inevitably going to hurt yourself and you need to accept that. On the whole your take is pretty shitty man.
For people looking to change and are worried about banks bullshit here is a link to a list of currently supported bank apps.
Personally I love to see someone downloading a shit load of stuff from me. Someone recently got a whole labels releases from me of over 30gb but that just tells me they have good taste in music as far as I'm concerned so I then explored their files and ended up getting a lot of interesting stuff in return.
I think these people with all their locked files asking for shit like gift vouchers in return for the privaledge of downloading a file from them are scummy, so the way you've approached it sounds great to me, you are sharing so grab whatever you need from people. Hopefully they will then explore your files and the cycle repeats!
If it is running over Wi-Fi it isn't really security, it is a toy. At the very best a visual deterrent for opportunistic people.
Lockdown was one of the best periods of my life. Getting to stay at home as much as possible and when I did go out people actually respected my fucking personal space.
God I miss it.
Doesn't really matter if it is good or bad, at the end of the day I am forced to go where the people I like choose to sell their music. Right now I use band camp because it gives the most money to artists and it is heavily used by my chosen genre but if band camp goes tits up I have to go where they go.
What annoys me about all this LED crap is that I have to download whatever companies shitty software to disable that shit. IMO all lights should be off entirely unless you install a program to switch them on.
But I can definitely agree that the software is also shitty.
It still is, that problem lies with you and an inability to find things you like from a selection that is only ever expanding and becoming more diverse as time goes on.
It is OK to like a specific era and for that to be your favourite but to claim that modern music isn't interesting is just a shitty take. You just don't personally like it.
