Hey everyone, happy to take over as a relatively hands off admin / mod.
I have a lot of love for the vita and still play mine to this day occasionally however I am definitely not on top of what is going on in the scene these days so wouldn't be able to really push for major growth within the community.
Happy to mod and look after it for the time being though and facilitate it being around in the hopes it can become more active in the future as Lemmy grows!
I appreciate the reply but I cannot stand those moldable ones that are like ramming a lump of blu-tack into your ears xD I find the opposite to be true that they don't provide as much sound insulation and they end up falling out due to the movement of your body as you work. At least that is my experience with them.
The foam ones I do use tend to be of slightly higher quality and for the most part I don't find them irritable apart from every now and then when they cause me some pain as I mentioned before. 85 % of the time they are good though and will stay in place for 8 hours plus without me having to fuck around.
Generally I'm happy with the foam ones I get through work, it is just that 15% of the time when they can cause me some pain that I would like to alleviate.
I have also tried the silicone ear plugs that are sort of ribbed with a more solid centre to them that are sort of a middle ground between the foam and moldable silly putty ones but they are the most irritable of them all as well as not staying put either so would not recommend them to anyone!
Interesting to read, I work with industrial machines and wear generic foam type ones for 8+ hours a day Mon to Fri and will often wear the same ones when I'm out and about to drown out the noise of society too. I dont mind them for the most part as I'm so used to them however every other month it was cause my ear canal to be quite painful for about a week.
I have always considered them but never wanted to pay the price.

I'm trying to identify what special edition this Xbox controller is but I'm struggling to find any info online that matches it.
It is grey and red with metallic red d-pad and triggers and has "you died" printed in the centre at the bottom. Initially that made me think it was some kind of dark souls related edition but searching those words just brings me up endless threads of people having issues with using a controller and the game.
I've scrolled through lists and lists of pictures of special editions and can't seem to find the right one, so does anyone have any insight into what this may be?
Maybe it is one someone has had made for themselves as I found it in a charity shop but it seems too good quality to be custom work and is definitely an official controller.

Current spec is:

DMR wingbars, grips and stem with a nukeproof headset and Rockshox Revelation upfront
Halo Vapour 50 rims with Maxxis Minion DHF 2.8 on the Front and Vittoria Mazza 2.6 on the rear
Generic dropper post and saddle.

Personally I love to see someone downloading a shit load of stuff from me. Someone recently got a whole labels releases from me of over 30gb but that just tells me they have good taste in music as far as I'm concerned so I then explored their files and ended up getting a lot of interesting stuff in return.
I think these people with all their locked files asking for shit like gift vouchers in return for the privaledge of downloading a file from them are scummy, so the way you've approached it sounds great to me, you are sharing so grab whatever you need from people. Hopefully they will then explore your files and the cycle repeats!
If it is running over Wi-Fi it isn't really security, it is a toy. At the very best a visual deterrent for opportunistic people.
