Why did Zuck cling to this dangerous and obvious fallacy?

We can see that he does understand it and applies it to himself ad his family by not posting private things on Facebook and putting tape over his camera at the office:

It's impossible to get a CEO to understand something when his quarterly earnings call depends on him not understanding it.

All of his statements have to be taken in the context of his platform. Using a pseudonym is bad for his platform not for the planet. Having real names in his platform is very valuable to him.
