Now they will finance more terrorist groups, betray them, wait until they kill innocent US people so they can keep pushing to get 2tri budget to defend the "free world".

After helping Israel with the Palestinian genocide. Such a great america company! I think we should trust them recording our screens to train a "personal ai".

Full of HR and "ass kissers" glorifying the work class exploitation as a "way of life". Pure sewage.

Completely incompatibility between views of the world. It can sound a civilised realisation, but the process to discover that was very messy with lots of frustration that started to compromise the mutual admiration and respect along few years.

Today I only wish good things to my ex-wife and I truly don't hold any bad feeling, but equally I don't want to see her ever again in my life.

You misspelled "dog".

Durable peace in the middle east is not possible while the state of Israel exists.

Hi all,

Before write what I am about to write, I would like to be clear that this is a very controversial topic and, for the eyes of many of you, this will be even silly.

I also know that open source means "open for everyone", and any conditional to that automatically makes a piece of software non-open source.

I really feel pissed off to see such effort for brilliant people from open source community being used for terrible things. So I started to nurture the idea of a license that would forbid the usage of a project by totalitarian governments, including its department and contractors, military forces of any country, certain entities like radical political parties, etc. Basically limiting the usage of those projects to any activity promoting human suffering.

Do you guys think that this is utopic? Does it really hurt the essence of open source? Do you think in the same way about this, and if yes, how do you cope with that?

As I said in my comment, I know the logistic problem that Israel is creating for any humanitarian support to reach those people. I also mentioned that my point is: instead of focusing on things that we can't change (like crying on Lemmy), we should focus on what is pragmatic: contribute with resources for those people to receive as much help as possible, as soon as possible. Nothing is easier than have a mobile app where you can directly donate any money that you can.

No, I am not joking. I just prefer to do what I can do, instead of doing nothing or just express my meanless opinion on internet, which will have less than zero positive impact in this situation.

If you choose the political pressure, it is also very helpful. But needs to be expressed through concrete actions in the real world: pressure your representative, protesting in front of government buildings, collaborate with resources to spread the information, etc.

UN has an app called Share the Meal https://sharethemeal.org/ wher you can easily donate to provide food for several places in the world that are in need. It is safe, transparent (show how your money is spent) and allows you to setup a monthly donation. Any value matters a lot.

I know that the major issue today is the logistic because of the monstrosities that Netanyahu government is perpetrating on Palestine people. But we need to focus in what we can do and do our best.

Currently, UN has the best chance to reach those people so, please, let's spread this as much as possible.

I support and share most of your opinions. She is a huge bigot and should be accountable for her actions. My only point is that we have kids and teenagers still consuming her books and products that are completely unaware of what is happening and shouldn't be called out because of that.

That is the correct answer

Although I think the support to Israel (which I am against too) does not play a role in the sake of this argument, I agree with you: it independent scientists couldn't find scientific evidences to support that, spies are for sure not reliable.
