Hell yeah! I love seeing Mixxx getting new features.

Maybe even FOSS wrappers for the big services. Such as https://github.com/th-ch/youtube-music/

[-] FQQD@lemmy.ohaa.xyz 1 points 4 days ago

With your idea, does the service (eg yt music, Spotify) have to specifically support the API?

[-] FQQD@lemmy.ohaa.xyz 53 points 4 days ago

that looks super cozy though (until you have insects, spiders and bugs in there with you)

It's not FOSS afaik, but it's free and works really well: https://www.tunemymusic.com/

It's not unpopular, but seemingly forgotten by some. !internetfuneral@lemmy.world is a community for artistic, obscure and surreal pictures with text, with a hint of criticism on life. It's hard to describe, so just have a look for yourself.

Feel free to post similar one's you made or found somewhere on the interwebs.

i always thought /usr stood for "user". Please tell me I'm not the only one

It's neat that Linux has the ability to do this, but I honestly can't think of a good usecase for this. I think this is more confusing than it is useful

I dont think the community is generally against AI, there's plenty of FOSS projects. They just don't like cashgrabs, enshittification and sending personal data to someone else's computer.

Please put an NSFW tag on this. I was on the train and when I saw this I had to start furiously masturbating. Everyone else gave me strange looks and were saying things like “what the fuck” and “call the police”. I dropped my phone and everyone around me saw this image. Now there is a whole train of men masturbating together at this one image. This is all your fault, you could have prevented this if you had just tagged this post NSFW
