I freaking hate video game journalists. They just write slop that's uninformative and a waste of time.

I fucking loved Manjaro as a newbie but I completely agree.

Why make a peertube client isn't of partnering with an app the already does peertube?

My only gripe is the default cursor. I hate it

Keep to popular distros. I'd personally recommend Pop os or fedora. Opensuse is up there too just never clicked with me when I was a new users.

I actually have started to discourage people using Ubuntu because of forced snap packages and multiple software store GUIs. It has led to a lot more confusion for new users even though Ubuntu is supposed to be user friendly.

My main use currently is a modded Minecraft server. But I want a VPS over one of those Minecraft host specifically because I plan on messing around with docker containers later and hosting my own Lemmy instance. Currently I have an openVZ server from TNA hosting because it was like $50 a year. But it's not powerful enough for the Minecraft modpack.

So what VPS provider would you lot recommend?

There's no removed comments. I looked through my profile cause like sometimes I just be saying shit so I was okay maybe. But I can't find any comments on that community. Just the old 196.

Idk if this is where to post this but I just wanted to rant. It's my first time ever being banned so it felt ouch.

Just wanted to share it because it's fast fun and easy and helpful for me at least.

I personally never understood dropping out when something like this happeneds. Like bro now you got the money to have the degree and not worry about paying it off. Might as well have it just to have it

I was looking at my playtime for some games and realized I have over 450 hours in PlanetSide 2.

I've been wanting to find a new game to sink some hours into so I'm curious what Lemmy plays the most.

My cable management is so bad I can't close my case but I don't care

Just as the title says. Any game I play except minecraft will eventually make gnome crash and send me back to the login manager. This happened on with my 1650 and on my RX 5500. I thought maybe something was wrong with my install so I reinstalled fedora on a new ssd and it's still happening. I'm not sure what to do but if someone is willing to guide me I'd like to make an actual bug report.

Why does anyone still use reddit? Why does anyone still use Twitter? Why does anyone still use Instagram?

If you don't know the show check it out on YouTube for season 1 and on Netflix for lazy in space which is a kind of remake of season 1 and the pilot plus season 2

You got me so good. Been using fedora for a few years now and I've been hesitant to hop to silverblue but now, after reading your issues with it I might just have to stay away. I can't imagine a world of painless updates and rebasing smoothly. If I don't have things to troubleshoot what else am I gonna do on my PC!
