If a single person can make the system fail then the system has already failed.

Additionally, organizations should approach CrowdStrike updates with caution

We would if we were able to control their "deployable content".

So where are we in the timeline at the moment?

Early 1933 I'm guessing, certainly not up to mid 1934 and the Night of the Long Knives yet.

For those like me wondering what it is:

Geany is a small and lightweight Integrated Development Environment. It was developed to provide a small and fast IDE, which has only a few dependencies from other packages. Another goal was to be as independent as possible from a special Desktop Environment like KDE or GNOME - Geany only requires the GTK3 runtime libraries.

I have an internet pencil.

Getting reliable internet through the house while renting crappy houses means I end up using ethernet over power bricks.

Every couple of months they will fail and need to be power cycled but the switches on the power point are occluded by the EoP brick without enough room for my fat fingers.

I would just grab any pen or pencil to use as my switch flicking tool but they are constantly purloined by my children so I keep a special internet pencil on my desk.

Heat index or apparent temperature is not the same as actual temperature. Would still suck but at least you aren't being pasteurized.
