That's where you find the bisexual she/theys in hetero relationships.

This is correct. Everyone in the US calls a kcal a calorie. I learned to distinguish them with big "C" and little "c", but I've just looked it up and this is apparently not so common. I guess ppl who are aware of these things just go with the SI unit of kJ.

Sure thing! Thanks for saying.

Explanation of the chart:

On the last match day of Group-A (23 Jun), it's SUI v GER, SCO v HUN. Their performances up to this point and 9 tie-breaking criteria determine who advances and in which position. Rather than explaining all of that, this chart just gives you the possible outcomes for 1st and 2nd place. Rows are the SCO/HUN result, columns are the SUI/GER result. Find the 2 results you're interested in (1 row, 1 column) and see which colour corresponds to them. 3rd place also has the possibility to advance. If HUN wins, it's them, otherwise it's SCO except for the blue region where it would be SUI. Group [A] winner advances to play Group [C]-2nd. Group [A]-2nd plays Group [B]-2nd (likely Italy or Spain).

That one episode of Rick and Morty ruined all heist movies for me forever.

And where do you even go? Civic centers, bowling alleys etc are dead. Moderate churches are disappearing. Car centric everything means if you have a disability or not much money you're screwed.

That's a good point. We can start with what we control by not buying crap from them directly.

This list aligns pretty well with mine.. It's easier and more satisfying than you expect to boycott companies like amazon.

It may not be fb's fault directly, but they hold the keys to an enormous resource which should be properly regulated. Telling op to just make the choice ignores the structural issue at hand. It's a bit like saying if you don't like all the problems of your country, just emigrate. That's everyone's choice, but it isn't practical as a general solution. Emigrating in a digital sense is far easier, but do we wait for these common goods to be enshittificated and reinvented or can we skip some suffering and seize control already.

Isn't that incredible? Turns out that connecting people to one another in this way fosters some healthy interaction for those who choose it but also amplifies loads of unhealthy bs. I'm one of those idiots who 15 years ago thought the internet and social media would bring about something of a second enlightenment, a golden area of progressivism, being well-informed, connected to one another in new and beautiful ways.

So let's consider a situation where scarce materials are suddenly no longer scarce but for some reason the price hasn't changed. Multiply that through producing a figure orders of magnitude greater than the economy of earth for the sake of.. catchy headline. The science and wonder of 16 Psyche isn't enough on its own-- let's relate it to money so the plebes gobble it up.

Yeah, I only make these charts out to a goal diff of 3 or a score of 4-0, but if Korea wins by 5 goals (+ Colombia wins by any amount), then Korea goes through.

Take the results of the last Group-H matches, see which colour the square is and then you'll know who finishes 1st and 2nd in the group.
