They tried for the last 40 years, my friend.

I think that's a question of goals. Was Bush Jr happy with his invasion of Iraq and Afghanistan? Of course he was. He got exactly what he wanted.

Is Trump happy with what he's getting in Iran? Of course he is. He'd rather talk about Iran than his starring role in the Epstein files.

Just because the war ended up being a negative for the American people, and of course, all of the people in the foreign country that were killed doesn't mean that the political leaders lost. Many of them got exactly what they wanted, and their friends who contract with the military got billions of dollars in revenue.

If you read through the comments here you'll see a ton of nuanced comments, I think undercutting your claim. At the same time, this is also an interesting issue because you're trying to play the centrist role. But on this issue there is no centrist role, and actually you've just played the pro AI role while pretending you didn't do that.

Because think about what happened. The developer used AI and it introduced bugs and that was bad for people. These are the facts. So the people are saying hey can you stop using AI and the developer is shrugging their shoulders.

What's the middle ground that you're looking for here? Recognizing that it's possible to use AI harmlessly? But that's not what happened. If it had been harmless used then no one would have brought up the issues in the first place.

And it may or may not be somewhat good. I think we're seeing that shitty programmers use AI to write even shittier programs. And that will continue indefinitely.

Can you imagine if tech workers decided they might want to unionize? That would be an exciting day.

I started playing diatomic harmonica, recently. I've been following some YouTube how-to videos, feels like a nice start. Now I'm looking for some easy blues harmonica sheet music ... I don't mind paying for something, although free is nice too ... but web searches are only displaying cheap online courses. Can anyone recommend a book or website?

I can read harmonica tab.

They're profiting from FOSS, nobody is trying to prevent them from doing so, but they refuse to spend small amounts of money helping out part-time coders ... and you know why. That money is going to the mid-level managers themselves.

Do the right thing and help your company in the medium run, or pocket chump change? Yeah, easy answer.

The people who pretend that they can keep politics out of their life are always the people who are benefiting from the current political system. Nobody else in the world is so ignorant.

Yet another possible antitrust lawsuit series. Some day maybe a judge will do something to help the consumers.

More than one person can be at fault, my friend. Don't lie about your product and expect no consequences.

Alligator Auschwitz. It's a death camp, or will soon be.

Not exactly. The mass pig expansion program across the country in the 1990s was spearheaded by Bill Clinton. The pro pig Dems are just as actively racist and murderous as the pro pig Reps.

So ... Pay the Americans more. That is why they are leaving, my farming friends. It really is that simple.
