This is merely a projection of a square on the surface of a cone projected onto a plane.

Capitalism is explicitly designed for people to benefit themselves at the expense of others. Capital begets more capital in a positive feedback loop that results in massively powerful billionaires.

If you elect representatives, those representatives are checked somewhat by the threat of being voted out. Capitalism has no such check. Sure, ostensibly people can choose not to buy a product, but unregulated capitalism selects for monopolies.

Now that you say it, it's obvious in hindsight

On the contrary, many that call themselves leftists have been thoroughly duped. Or they're all bad faith actors, but I try to never attribute to malice that which can be sufficiently explained by incompetence.

We must bring about glorious revolution, even if our methods aren't particularly effective and millions suffer.

You don't know the first thing about me. Your presumption betrays your insincerity.

It's literally the job of the president to maintain diplomatic relations with other world leaders, even the ones we disagree with. It is not an endorsement of Putin to say that. Stein isn't the president, or Vice President, or Secretary of State, or anything. She holds no office, much less one that necessitates meeting foreign dignitaries. She did this on her own, the question is why.

One of these pictures is of a government official fulfilling the diplomatic duties of the office, the other is a private citizen joining a MAGA extremist at a gala for a Russian propaganda network.

If you think Democrats are bad, you should see hostile foreign entities. If you can't do your bureaucratic due diligence to double check election forms, you are absolutely not qualified to lead an entire country.

The Permanent Apportionment Act needs to be repealed ASAP, that would solve a surprising number of the flaws in our democracy. The Wyoming Rule is a good start, but half a million constituents each seems a bit spread thin. I say 3 Rep minimum and scale from there instead.

When I was very young, my dad told me we were going to Miami. I thought he said "my Ami", which I assumed was a word for some kind of relative, like Auntie, Granny, etc.

The Democrats and Republicans agree that the world isn't fair. Idealistically, the Democratic response to that fact is trying to make things more fair (minimum wage increases, regulation and customer protections, social services, etc) while the Republican response is to exploit the unfairness for personal gain.

Bambu X1C Purge and Prime (sh.itjust.works)

I'm considering pulling the trigger on an X1C but the waste is a huge turn-off. I know there are options for purging to infill or a sacrificial object, but last I heard there's still a considerable amount of purge/prime. Can someone who's played with the settings tell me honestly how much progress has been made in reducing waste?
