I have sent my do nothing MP Brad Reddecop an email, it originally asked him if the US was attacking the straight white man (cis, I implied not that he would know there are straight Trans white men) if he would sit on his ass and do nothing about it. Luckily I got it proof read by an ai and that was all worded differently.
The U.S. government encouraged people to report on doctors in Canada who provide gender-affirming care to children—signaling a chilling new cross-border reach in its anti-trans agenda.
In mid April, the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) posted a form on its website soliciting “tips” about the “Chemical and Surgical Mutilation of Children,” echoing the language of Donald Trump’s executive order attempting to block gender-affirming care to those under 19 years old.
The website promised to protect “whistleblowers” and contained a drop-down menu that included the provinces and territories of Canada, as well as Canada’s Armed Forces—effectively allowing reports to be filed against health care providers located north of the border.
Trump overstepping his bounds as usual. What an asswipe he is.
Again, this is a direct threat to Canada, please take it as such
Congrats, now doctors especially won’t vacation the the US.
Yes, Americans come to Canada for surgery. But there's nothing Trump can do to stop it without restricting the free movement of American citizens.
I suppose we'll have to see how the legislation banning people from traveling to other states for abortion care works out, because that's clearly going to be the framework used to target trans Americans. Not sure how that would apply to travel to foreign nations, but I'm sure the Republicans will come up with something.
I'm sure the administration.will stop terrorists from visiting other countries soon, don't worry.
/S in case that wasn't obvious
