Also, by leaving your email on unread, I can continue to cycle through your and other people's emails once a day, until your email has finally achieved a level of urgency that compels me to reply.

I get like 20 emails every day from GitHub. 90% are completely useless but somewhere in there is a specific pull request that needs to meet a deadline and that needs a quick review and yet I will not notice it.

No. Answer my email. Ffs.

Just last week I spent two days waiting on my friend who was supposed to bring me something back the same day. He didn't let me know anything because he felt bad he couldn't come.

I tend to forget that I have replied, and then I either end up replying twice or look through my sent emails 6 times because I keep forgetting

Most ADHD symptoms are "oh yeah that's me (sometimes) haha"

Where ADHD is usually "this is literally ruining my career and my relationships. Better go hyperfocus on a new hobby I'll never complete a project in. That will help me avoid thinking about doing the simple thing I'm completely incapable of doing that would take 5 minutes if my brain would just let me do it."

Indeed, I also do this with texts and voicemails. Then the shame and anxiety monster eats me and I either breakdown and read them or swipe them away and hope for the best.

Work emails I do better because it is my job at stake, but only just barely. Voicemails are 100% ignored though, and currently have 30 "missed calls" I'm never going to look at in the hope they vanish through the power of some outside force.

A lot of stuff on this sub applies to us good 'ol procrastinaters.

Or I also have ADHD, I don't fucking know anymore

A lot of ADHD Symptoms are things that regular people also do, but turned up to a level where it causes problems. It's fine to be a bit distracted when you're bored, it might be something more if you're always distracted, even if it's something that you find interesting.
