Feeling hopeful about this!
Saaaame, crossing my fingers that: 1. They actually act on it and get it running and 2. that it's successful, of course. With the ridiculous inflation in the past year or so this would be such a relief to SO MANY people. And really there is nothing like being able to access fresh produce. Obviously it's very important for health reasons, but food is really important to me as a treat and it just improves my quality of life so much to eat fresh stuff.

As much as i fundamentally mistrust social democracy, seeing it peek through American politics feels like a nice cold cup of ice tray water after a year in the desert
Seriously, any little crumb will feel like a monumental achievement; even the THOUGHT that a politician would be considering such a thing. Sad!
