doesn't work
Literally lol. Perhaps this can be a positive for workers; less red tape, more opportunity for militant action

TIL youre considered wealthy in New York if you make 100,000 dollars a year and rent an apartment
The progressive senator from Massachusetts swung by New York City on Monday to pay homage to Mamdani, who overwhelmingly won the Democratic nomination for mayor in June — but still hasn’t secured endorsements from many of New York’s party leaders.
Bro, you don't NEED their endorsements! There were like 2-3 other candidates whose votes will go to you in the main election!! You fucking won the primary, even being labeled a dirty socialist! THE MASSES WANT SOCIALISM IT'S NOT A SCARY WORD ANYMORE!!!

I don't remember who posted about it, but I thought I saw something where an Israeli official was insinuating that they would engage in terrorist attacks that would be worse than the pager explosions in Lebanon. Anyone have any thoughts or more information on that if true?
Wonder if this all has been a psy op of sorts from the start. Accelerate destroying these agencies through DOGE, Trump kicks musk out so they can more discreetly do that same work, and now Trump will look like a savior to his voter base since it was Musk fucking them over
....The crylaugh emoji is so sinister. We are cooked
Love the fried chicken myth in there along with fair wages, affordable housing, and government subsidies
If this is the type of censorship I would have to endure in communist China, I'll have to work on renewing my passport
Thank the lordt
ACLU cheers house vote blocking 9495
WASHINGTON — The House of Representatives blocked H.R. 9495, the Stop Terror-Financing and Tax Penalties on American Hostages Act, 256-145. Because the House of Representatives was attempting to move the bill on suspension it required a two-thirds majority in order to pass. This legislation would have granted the Secretary of Treasury the unilateral power to investigate and effectively shut down any tax-exempt organization — including news outlets, universities, and civil society groups — by stripping them of their tax-exempt status based on an unilateral accusation of wrongdoing.
Aw hey I went to see him last year!

I found this article about Milei yesterday to learn a bit about him and it's absolute unhinged. I read this part and I lost my shit, cackling at work:
But he quit football at 18 to study economics, going on to lecture at university, then working as an economist at various financial institutions.
In his free time he sang in a band, Everest, which played Rolling Stones songs — and he looked the part. Advertisement
Milei claims he hasn’t combed his hair since he was 13, adding: "From that moment on, the invisible hand combs my hair.”
I have been touching a lot of fuckin grass lately, too much actually.
I'm also (technically) like 4 days late on submitting my critical analysis paper for a class. I think I figured out that I am extremely intimidated about writing an academic paper after being outta school so long. I might need accommodations to actually get through this. Hard to reckon with. It's gonna be a neat paper about ICE/Palestine/activism though
Also fuck my family they suck ass
