Sauna + swimming (hackertalks.com)

I've started to use my gyms sauna. For two weeks now I get into the sauna until I can't stand it anymore then go dip into the pool.

My heat tolerance has improved rapidly, I can now do 80C for 20m.

Ive noticed my sleep dramatically improving on sauna days.

Do you use a sauna? How do you like it?

Yeah, we have saunas at work and I started using them before bed, like you say really helps me sleep.
Then I got one for my home with a whiskey barrel plunge pool. Took a while for the smell of whiskey to disappear though, every time I'd dip into it I'd stick of whiskey.
I've made a little shelf on the window to sit my phone and have a Bluetooth speaker on the floor so I can watch episodes of taskmaster while in there.
Usually have 3 sessions with a cold plunge in between.

I live in a very hot country. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one to ever use the sauna.

I'm more a hammam than a sauna person. I can sustain humidity better than dryness

I have a separate sauna building on my yard with a wood burning stove but I probably go there about once every 3 months. I used to go several times a week at the gym I went to but my current one doesn't have one.

Sauna? I just go outside lol

Jk that’s cool though. Do you feel like you can handle outdoor heat better as a result?

Yes, it feels like the outdoor heat isn't so bad now.

I don’t have access to one currently but maybe I’ll consider looking for one. I like to be outside so the weather here can be a bit of a drag in summer since it regularly exceeds 110F.
