An objective press is supposed to report facts, not just the statements. An objective press does not mean not taking the side of fact and reality.

If a child with chocolate on their face said they didn't eat the chocolate donut, that's they are clearly seen eating in the CCTV footage, you don't report their statement with the same impact as what actually happened.

Child accused of eating donut pressing charges for defamation

Alleged donut eater found with chocolate on face says they were charged due to rushed investigation, profiling.

[Two years later]

Donut thief footage revealed. Cases formerly dismissed see new evidence, but suspect cannot be charged again.

It’s a joke what ‘objective’ headlines have become, because everything is predetermined by money and status or simple obfuscation.

There is no such thing as objective media. It’s all subjective and every person has uncountable biases. Best we can do is try to be aware of and transparent with our perspectives.
