So guys there’s a chess tournament that I will be participating in soon ,it will happen on the 20th of June ,and I want help preparing for it ,now I’m playing some causal games with the head of our chess federation in Palestine ,I’m rated 2000 + elo online so I’m pretty good but I want help from friends who are good ,better or worse in studying some theoretical lines and famous openings that I’m very sure I will face

Like the kings gambit ,queens gambit ,carro kan ,Sicilian etc

I will be using an account called Red Nablus on Lichess to play and train with anyone who can help me ,we will play unrated games ,960 and normal chess

But you need to know chess to help ,no Cheating

I hope someone here is good at chess ,at least above 1500 elo on lichess or on chess.com

I really want to win this tournament and would appreciate help

I'm all little out of mainstream chess at the moment, but my impression was that King's Gambit is not popular anymore. In no particular order, I've found these openings popular in tournament play: French defence, Sicilian, Scandinavian, caro kann, Pirc defence, Queen's Gambit (both accepted and declined), Ruy Lopez.

Online chess streamers have also popularized dubious play and trap-setting, so those are scenarios you might want to mentally prepare for.

If it's a in-person tournament, don't ignore the psychological factors. If it's a different time control than you're used to playing, play that time control.

Best of luck!

Bro we’re not playing for a continental championship ,any legitimate opening including gambits like the kings gambit will be played

Are you above 1000 elo if so ,I’d like to play you even if you’re a bit rusty now

Yes it’s in person

Is there anything I can do at a consistent 1000 ELO online rapid? I've been meaning to study up to go further and have a few books. I'm sure it's not what you had in mind and I will have glaring flaws that you won't find helpful.

Of course but above 1000 elo is good enough to help me so I want you to play me on lichess on account called Red Nablus

Haven't played chess since I was a teenager but that sounds rad, hope you wipe the floor with em. From what I do know 2000 is not bad at all. Good luck comrade!

Thank You Very Much Habibi
