I wish Gundam: The Origin was adapted in a way that fleshed out its characters like NGE's manga lol

I just like the reading more - plus I think it better contextualizes some of the uhhhhhhh sexuality? (Or makes it easier to read it as being in the mind of a fucked up teenager? Idk having a hard time describing lol) I’m a context-aholic though so maybe I just like flipping back pages rather than episodes haha. Or the pacing of reading makes it feel more like a novel and less like a serial monster fighting show. Who knows- enjoy both though

There's some minor differences that just work better IMO. The publication history of it is kinda interesting - it started alongside the anime, but didn't finish until the early 2010s. It's not a terribly long read - worth a shot if you enjoyed the show enough.
