I am mentis compos, fully competent to handle my own commercial and legal affairs, and I comprehend the nature and substance of this matter.

X to doubt.

I'm in the U.S. and have a friend that serves court papers for the local county, and when people try this shit the court will often just enter a "not guilty" plea because it's a preliminary hearing.

When trial starts and they try this again, or they just don't show up, is where they start to get in real trouble. He said most of them will change their mind about being sovereign citizen after they start to spend some time in jail.

Thank you for providing the monthly bullshit filter test. Everything is fine. I physically cannot read any of the second paragraph. My eyes dart straight to the third.

"I do not appear to represent myself or about myself, and I am fully competent"

So you're.. fully competent but not there mentally?

Haha, sovcits literally think laws are magic.

That second court date is probably to establish fitness to stand trial (sanity in other words lol)

Whereupon they furrowed their brows for a moment then looked at each other with a raised eyebrow and a long sigh.

'Ah, it's one of these buffoons'.

[-] Dagwood222@lemm.ee 0 points 2 weeks ago

If they don't respect the laws, why do they respect the courts??

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 0 points 2 weeks ago

What court do they ask "how do you stand" in?
