All last weekend my fyp was brigaded by chud text posts where they try to act tough about the "radical libs protesting" and I still don't know what I did to deserve it. I barely ever talk to libs or chuds on there and my feed is mostly communist creators and stuff about autism...
My greatest fear is probably being realized about the "behind closed doors" stuff that happened to keep TikTok in the states. My favorite thing about the app was that the feed alg tended to stay with your interests instead of trying to bait you like FB does.

Nothing surprising. Way more reactionary, especially individualistic. Fitness (the aesthetic, โbe an alphaโ kind), explaining how stocks work, how to plan your retirement, how works, complaining about some interaction with a drive thru employee, grindset mindset nonsense (how to deal with alienation by doubling down your efforts). Just a microcosm of the experience of the US at the moment.

Unfortunately it's really really difficult to bully people on tiktok because of the ai moderation is tuned to be extremely heavy handed. Saying anything remotely mean in any context gets instant removals, I hate it.
It really is the worst. You have to be extremely creative. Like I wouldn't even say "you're wrong" in a TikTok comment. You definitely can bully people but it's like a unique literary puzzle each time.
I found that a single word "pit" response doesn't trigger anything which is nice.
It's crazy that I'll just see hard r n word but if I call someone dense I get an account strike
Unless the victim is trans! Then the hateful content gets boosted it seems.
The nteenth time I had a report come back as "we found nothing wrong" was when I deleted my account

I hate shit like this so much. It's part of what killed reddit for me, seeing effort posts just be automatically deleted because I said too many swear words or what the fuck ever.
I get a lot of YouTube comments deleted for IDK what. If I have 2 comments on a video both saying "fucking lol," one of them gets removed and the other stays.
Sure they're leaning on TikTok to play ball and push the propaganda streams, would be real unfortunate if someone decided to ban the platform.
A hilarious counter-psyop by Iran would be if they showed pics of the (US) troops and announced a huge number of incoming organ donors and dog food

About half of these troops mentioned that they were doing the tiktoks on duty and one said "oh yeah man they want us to come on and answer any of your questions"

Funny how this is exactly how the US army twitch channel went too. The chat was full of people calling out US war crimes and making fun of the soldiers being forced to stream.
genuinely don't think this is the 'DoD' but instead the fact that the average soldier is a fucking stupid horny boy & stupid horny boys love preening online lmao
It's a huge sudden increase and they're on there saying they are getting paid to do it and not even being horny
