Oh it's definitely AI, but Im head-canoning that the Jeep is owned by the photographer who knows he won't be sitting.
I just got a strange sense of deja vu reading this. I always kinda enjoy that.
So he doesn't get to sit? Or did he take his chair with him?

How does this confirm it's an AI image please?
Not questioning it, just interested
It's just a higher quality version of the same image and if you zoom into the license plates and other details you can tell. The extra pixels help
The original could be a real picture but the higher resolution could have been run through AI resampling to make up detail where there was little to no detail before. AI tends to have a really difficult time making sense of things like the legs of those chairs, which look fine to me.
but also the shadows of the cars and the fact that you couldn't park those cars on soft dirt without disrupting the grass or sinking into the ground a little bit, plus the fact that usually grass next to water doesn't look like that unless it's on a golf course
I mean, just because it might not be generative AI doesn’t mean it isn’t photoshopped to hell and back. The height of the camera (as well as the subject) kind of points towards staged rather than a casual photo, so photoshopping something together doesn’t seem out of the question in that context.
On the other hand, gen ai could be trying to mimic a weirdly photoshopped picture but was surprisingly accurate in things it’s usually awful at. Who knows.
