I mean in the numbers we're talking about 11,000 is kind of a rounding error.
Why?
Lowest birth rate since 2005?
To improve the birth rate maybe make housing affordable, not bring more people in who will realize how expensive it is to have kids and then not have kids either.
Agreed, but we need people, if we're not making any then we need to import them. Idk about you but my province has an aging problem.
Who says we need people? We can't even find homes and jobs for the people that are here already.

11,000 more medical professionals available to hail on Uber to drive you from the hospital when you find it is closed due to lack of staff.
