No such thing as EA customer support. It only exists on paper. It's become cheaper to just wait for a lawsuit because you as an individual are worthless to them.
even if you delete your email account it takes time to process usually, you might check if you can recover it if its been less than a month. https://support.google.com/accounts/answer/6236295?sjid=2329362500849459163-NC
Had the same situation as you, yet to be resolved, thankfully I'm still logged in the ea desktop app, but I basically gave up on ever taking back full control of my account.
Hey, I'm exactly in the same situation as you.
Only way I can login to my EA account is via Steam. As soon as I try to login on their website, it will send me a confirmation email.
I don't own shit on Origin so I don't really care but let me know if you ever find a solution.
I also tried it via steam. But guess what... They send the 2FA Code to my mail. I can't even unlink my EA Account... I would like to play some Bf4 and 1 I bought this Summer sale for 3$. But I cant play them, because I cant login. And I don't want to create a second steam account just for EA Connect...
Maybe I should contact Steam and tell them what a shitshow EA is... Maybe they can manage to unlink my EA Account. At least steams Support is pretty solid.
Edit: I reached out to Steam. I will give an update.
Edit: Edit: Steam answered: "Hello,
I apologize for the delay.
Unfortunately, EA uses a separate account and activation system that we can't access at Steam Support.
Linking and unlinking a Steam account and a game or service is an external process. Steam Support is not able to modify or unlink your account. To unlink this product from your Steam account, you will need to contact the external game or service's support team.
We know that you already contacted the game support, but we still need you to go back to contact them again to seek further assistance.
