I watch some of his stuff but I wouldn't blame anyone for choosing not to. The guys presentation of the research is just annoyingly pretentious and he seems to have a bit of an ego.

I get it his shtick is that he's a hipster journalist referring to your audiance as "guys". Its just not working for me.

His videos are also really surface level information and lack nuance in a lot of ways too. I don’t blame anyone for not watching him.

I think surface level info is fine for an explainer video. That's kind if the point. He could do a little more to push people towards more detailed sources of info but he's not worse then most other explainer and he seems to be sourcing things decently.

Here is an alternative Piped link(s):

https://piped.video/watch?v=2P3P5OkGt8Q

Piped is a privacy-respecting open-source alternative frontend to YouTube.

I'm open-source; check me out at GitHub.

You can just replace youtube.com with piped.video for that.

However id recommend you sticking with youtube links - as awesome as it is piped doean't work 24/7, thanks to google/yt

He doesn't know shit. I am sorry to say it that way but he is just create really good videos but he just make short videos and try to explain everything in one short video. That's is impossible , security and privacy is a journey it takes time and you have to work on it everyday.

His apologia video for the IMF or whatever sucked pretty bad. I didn't mind some of his content but that one was far too neoliberal for my liking.
