I don’t see this case resulting in a conviction, but it will have a chilling effect on the rule of law in the US regardless. I find it particularly ridiculous as well as I think Comey did Donald the single biggest favor of his 2016 campaign when he announced he was investigating Hillary a few days before the polls opened.

Under authoritarianism, you will never be ideologically pure enough for Dear Leader. Even the man who handed Dear Leader his first and most important victory is being put through the wringer now. Nobody is safe.
