There's no way those commanders aren't shaking their heads at this stooge. Describing defense as leading to "overuse, overreach, and mission creep"? How did this person study politics, rise up ranks to become a major and still be this ignorant of such simple concepts? I can understand dumb, but ignorant too?

"You kill people and break things for a living."

I wonder how much of the audience were insulted by that. I think even many of the grunts would find that condescending and dehumanizing.

Goblins and literal ratmen: That is offensive! We have so much more to contribute! There's quite a few who are partial to torture and at least five times that who are quite into the old SV!

I'm glad the disgruntled scum of humanity may be of some use going forward though.

The US has always committed war crimes. Now it is just being honest about it

And it's important to emphasize when war crimes are official state policy. There's no "bad apples" excuse here, no-one can deflect this onto the soldiers. They're comfortable enough that they're being honest.

I mean if you tell the scum of humanity they're no longer on a leash and they go on to do as they wish, they're still culpable. The 'human' version of rabid rats have only had their leash removed, they're still only doing as they please.
