Israel trying to pass the hospital bombing off as Palestine doing it is utterly disgusting and guarantees Netanyahu a spot in the deepest pit of Hell for all eternity, obviously, but do not forget that

a) the only reason why Westerners will believe it is because they want to believe it - they are not being brainwashed and this is not some masterful propaganda being weaved around us to turn kind-hearted people into monsters,

b) no Westerner opinions matter at all. In most Western countries there is no real anti-Israel option to vote for even if they did realize that Israel was a giant factory for crimes against humanity, and Westerners protesting against things in general almost never achieves anything (tens of millions protested for BLM in 2020 and not only did the situation not change, it got worse), and

c) the people whose opinions do matter (both the people in the region, and the leaders who aren't already Zionist compradors) already know that Israel is full of shit and that they just murdered nearly a thousand civilians in a single bomb attack.

It is despair-inducing to think that the genocidal Zionist entity is so brazenly, so smugly getting away with bullshitting this away into a cloud of confusion, as they release their metaphorical squid ink just like they did with the stupid babies story, but the propaganda and the media narrative that they are creating isn't what matters. It cannot address the fundamental contradictions ripping the country, the region, and the world apart any more than masterfully-applied makeup can fix a stab wound. It can merely obfuscate.

If you have evidence of Israeli crimes and atrocities that you wish to preserve, there is a thread here in which to do so.

Sources on the fighting in Palestine against Israel. In general, CW for footage of battles, explosions, dead people, and so on:

UNRWA daily-ish reports on Israel's destruction and siege of Gaza and the West Bank.

English-language twitter account that collates news (and has automated posting when the person running it goes to sleep).

English-language PalestineResist telegram channel.

Various sources that are covering the Ukraine conflict are also covering the one in Palestine, like Rybar.

The Country of the Week is still Palestine! Feel free to chime in with books, essays, longform articles, even stories and anecdotes or rants.

Here is the map of the Ukraine conflict, courtesy of Wikipedia.

The weekly update isn't coming because I'm sick and too focussed on the collapse of the Zionist entity.

Resources For Understanding The War

Defense Politics Asia's youtube channel and their map. Their youtube channel has substantially diminished in quality but the map is still useful.

Moon of Alabama, which tends to have interesting analysis. Avoid the comment section.

Understanding War and the Saker: reactionary sources that have occasional insights on the war.

Alexander Mercouris, who does daily videos on the conflict. While he is a reactionary and surrounds himself with likeminded people, his daily update videos are relatively brainworm-free and good if you don't want to follow Russian telegram channels to get news. He also co-hosts The Duran, which is more explicitly conservative, racist, sexist, transphobic, anti-communist, etc when guests are invited on, but is just about tolerable when it's just the two of them if you want a little more analysis.

On the ground: Patrick Lancaster, an independent and very good journalist reporting in the warzone on the separatists' side.

Unedited videos of Russian/Ukrainian press conferences and speeches.

Telegram Channels

Again, CW for anti-LGBT and racist, sexist, etc speech, as well as combat footage.

Pro-Russian

https://t.me/aleksandr_skif ~ DPR's former Defense Minister and Colonel in the DPR's forces. Russian language.

https://t.me/Slavyangrad ~ A few different pro-Russian people gather frequent content for this channel (~100 posts per day), some socialist, but all socially reactionary. If you can only tolerate using one Russian telegram channel, I would recommend this one.

https://t.me/s/levigodman ~ Does daily update posts.

https://t.me/patricklancasternewstoday ~ Patrick Lancaster's telegram channel.

https://t.me/gonzowarr ~ A big Russian commentator.

https://t.me/rybar ~ One of, if not the, biggest Russian telegram channels focussing on the war out there. Actually quite balanced, maybe even pessimistic about Russia. Produces interesting and useful maps.

https://t.me/epoddubny ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/boris_rozhin ~ Russian language.

https://t.me/mod_russia_en ~ Russian Ministry of Defense. Does daily, if rather bland updates on the number of Ukrainians killed, etc. The figures appear to be approximately accurate; if you want, reduce all numbers by 25% as a 'propaganda tax', if you don't believe them. Does not cover everything, for obvious reasons, and virtually never details Russian losses.

https://t.me/UkraineHumanRightsAbuses ~ Pro-Russian, documents abuses that Ukraine commits.

Pro-Ukraine

Almost every Western media outlet.

https://discord.gg/projectowl ~ Pro-Ukrainian OSINT Discord.

https://t.me/ice_inii ~ Alleged Ukrainian account with a rather cynical take on the entire thing.

thread is kinda long so I'm putting it in a spoiler

I have a very very bad feeling about what is going on within the US government at every level right now. It appears to be rapidly crumbling from the inside, and there furthermore appears to be no one to pick up the pieces 🧵

Look at how many incumbents are running unopposed in the local and state elections… here in Ventura County, two of our supervisors, one state assembly person, one state senator - all running unopposed. Many municipal seats appear to be heading to vacancy…

At the federal level, people are resigning left and right over how the US is handling foreign affairs. The Congress is in a state of complete dysfunction, senators are going on diplomatic trips and campaign walks instead of working…

and the executive; well I don’t even know what the hell is going on there. They are functionally doing nothing that NEEDS to be done. A group of unelected bureaucrats are running the country, that is very evident at this stage

Remember what I do as a “day job.” I research and write about public policy and am working in a graduate program in public administration. My classmates/colleagues have gone from professional and optimistic about what we are doing here…

…to jaded, snarky, and talking about how worthless elected and appointed public administrators are in a very brief period of time. One classmate, just yesterday - a man in his 40s who works full time in a prison - said “this all seems like a facade at this point.”

The hopelessness we hear about in the media - the rises in depression and suicide… it is caused by this state of crumble. It’s why people just don’t care anymore, about themselves, about what happens.

I believe next year will see a voter turnout lower than any point in American history. And that will be the least of our problems.

One of the few things I’m actually good at is connecting dots early on, and predicting where things are going south.

This is going to be bad

The government is run by people with money. No qualifications. No ethics. No understanding of how public policy even is supposed to work; of what good governance actually is about

This is a dark moment; I’m not sure many, even myself, recognize yet just how bleak it really is

Libs see this and weep because they think democracy is falling; we see this and cheer because the empire is collapsing. I hope she's right, death to Amerikkka.

AJ's summary video of the hospital bombing includes a video of Yousef Abu Al-Rish, Undersecretary of the Health Ministry in Gaza, saying the following in a press conference at the hospital:

"On the morning of the second day, the head of the hospital, Dr Maher Ayyad, received a phone call from the Israeli army, to tell him that "we warned you yesterday by firing two strikes. Why haven't you evacuated the hospital yet?"

This purports with the two attacks that I figured may have been warning strikes.

I've said before that the US is in the same stage the British Empire was during both World Wars when it was starting to realize just how far stretched out it was and seeing the cracks. What I'm not entirely sure of is whether the US is closer to a WW1 or WW2 like scenario. Has it already reached the full extent of its reach? Or will that happens once it finally manages to subjugate the EU?

The video of the bomb hitting the hospital sure doesn't sound like falling shrapnel.

https://vm.tiktok.com/ZGJTguJCa/

Now compare that sound to this recording of a JDAM missile in Afghanistan.

Edit: bomb, not missile

Moon of Alabama piece today: U.S. Deploys Large Force - Eyes On Syria

TLDR:

  • Israel is toast, can be destroyed by Hezbollah and the United States cannot meaningfully respond and definitely not quickly.
  • The United States is not sending its carriers to support Israel necessarily, nor to put pressure specifically on Iran (the United States also would find it very difficult to attack Iran without facing massive retaliation in response across the entire region - regardless of the ultimate victor, it would be an extremely bloody war for both sides)
  • The purpose of the United States' increasing presence, purports b, is instead Syria, in order to deal a geopolitical blow to Russia and topple Assad.

Palestinian Authority cracks down on protests over Israel Gaza attacks

Ramallah, occupied West Bank – A young Palestinian girl was shot and killed by Palestinian Authority (PA) security forces on Tuesday during protests in the northern West Bank city of Jenin in response to the deadly explosion at a hospital in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The family of 12-year-old Razan Nasrallah confirmed to Al Jazeera that she was killed at about 10pm on Tuesday night.

“A bullet entered the right side of her chest. It pierced her lungs and hit her heart,” her uncle, 64-year-old Ziad Nasrallah told Al Jazeera.

“We consider her a martyr who was killed defending Gaza. We mourn her with pride,” he continued.

A funeral procession was held for her on Wednesday morning in Jenin

This is my interview with Israeli parliamentarian Ofer Cassif, who warns that Israel is about to explode into a Ukraine-like civil war, with Azov-style Kahanist militias hunting down and murdering Palestinians and leftist Jews.

Like the “pro-Ukraine” crowd that has watched the country be destroyed in war, the “pro-Israel” commentariat is cheering on its descent into madness.

What would be the response of the resistance if this were come to pass? Would Israel even be able to do a ground invasion of Gaza if it wanted to?

Sorry for posting more about kkkanada but the representative that I mentioned yesterday who was being censured by the government for supporting Palestine is now serving the premier of Ontario with a cease and desist and the premier claimed the rep is

spoiler CW mention of SASupporting the rape and murder of Jewish people

And redditors are clamouring about how suing the premier is a bad political move and an example of how the left supports antisemitism. They actually can't understand someone having beliefs outside of political maneuvering and supporting whatever is convenient at the moment

At this point any government not trying to intervene is complicit in the crimes of israel. If the international rules based order means anything, 800 murdered in a hospital attack should erase any right for the state of israel to exist.

Here's an analysis/message/memo? of some Russian lieutenant general: https://nitter.cz/DD_Geopolitics/status/1715500053207675210 I have no idea how the Twitter account got the memo, but it's interesting all the same.

Here's an older analysis/message/memo of the same dude from the same Twitter account: https://nitter.cz/DD_Geopolitics/status/1711882620899057750

His Wikipedia article is pretty funny:

During the 2022 Russian invasion of Ukraine, he made it clear that in case of a world war, Russia would bomb London before Warsaw, Paris or Berlin.

On 30 August 2022 Gurulyov "encouraged Putin's regime to launch missile strikes on the British Isles", and said that "would be the end of the British Crown."

Preliminary analysis by FA, @alhaq_org & @earshot_ngo into the #AlAhli hospital blast in Gaza casts significant doubt on IOF claims that the source of the deadly explosion was a Palestinian-fired rocket travelling west to east.

Thread

In short, the crater has fragmentation patterns that suggest it came from the north-east, i.e. Israel, not west-south-west where Israel claims the PIJ fired the rocket from. Analysis of the doppler effect in multiple videos also suggest it came from somewhere east.

Edit: Here's a Channel 4 summary of it plus the fact that the fake call Israel released is spliced together from two separate recordings.

Detroit synagogue president Samantha Woll found dead outside her home

Police have not yet identified a motive, they said.

The article

Detroit synagogue president Samantha Woll found dead outside her home

A politically connected Detroit synagogue president was found stabbed dead this morning outside her home in the city's Lafayette Park neighborhood, east of downtown.

Samantha Woll, 40, led the Isaac Agree Downtown Detroit Synagogue and previously worked for Congresswoman Elissa Slotkin and on the re-election campaign of Attorney General Dana Nessel, both Democrats.

Police said in an afternoon statement that were investigating a body found stabbed multiple times in the 1300 block of Joliet Place. A trail of blood led to the victim's home, where police said they believe the crime occurred.

"I am shocked, saddened and horrified to learn of Sam's brutal murder," Nessel said in a statement. "Sam was as kind a person as I've ever known. She was driven by her sincere love of her community, state and country. Sam truly used her faith and activism to create a better place for everyone."

Detroit Mayor Mike Duggan said he was "devastated" by the loss of "one of Detroit's great young leaders."

"Just weeks ago, I shared a day of joy with Sam at the dedication of the newly renovated Downtown Synagogue," he said. "It was a project she successfully led with great pride and enthusiasm."

Woll had led the synagogue since 2022. A statement sent by its rabbi said it was "shocked and saddened," by Woll's "unexpected death."

"At this point we do not have more information, but will share more when it becomes available. May her memory be a blessing."

Police have not yet identified a motive, they said. A woman was found at 6:30 a.m. after someone reported her lying on the ground unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene, they said.

Woll, who also previously worked in constituent relations for State Sen. Stephanie Chang, was selected as one of The Detroit Jewish News' "36 under 36" in 2017.

According to the news outlet, Woll helped lead the American Jewish Committee's ACCESS Detroit Young Leadership Program and founded the Muslim-Jewish Forum of Detroit, a grassroots organization aimed to build relationships between young adults of those faiths.

"By extending her hand and creating space for connection between Muslims and Jews, she has exemplified the values of healing the world," The Detroit Jewish News article said.

Relatively calm day, probably caused by the opening of the Rafah crossing. Hamas have likely given orders for calm as a result of the aid being priority. IDF have not stopped bombing though.

Lebanon border on the other hand has had constant fighting.
